Abstract The control circuit arrangement comprises a plant, a controller (3) having an I-member (7) and a servo motor (15) whose rate of adjustment is limited and which is associated with a follow-up (22). The follow-up enables the operative movement of the servo motor (15) to act on a comparator (11) disposed in the control circuit between the output of the controller (3) and the input of the servo motor (15). The output of the comparator (11) is also connected to attenuating means (34, 36) which are operative in the entry path of the I-member (7). The attenuating means comprise a functions pickoff(34) and a multiplier element (36). The functions pickoff(34) delivers an output signal which is lower for a high absolute value of its input signal than for a low absolute value thereof. The functions pickoff output signal acts by way of a multiplier element (36) on the entry path of the I-member (7). Control oscillations of the control circuit operation are therefore obviated, more particularly in the case of periodically occurring abrupt variations.
