Abstract of the Disclosure In a control circuit for igniting thyristors and reporting back thereon, which is controlled by a pulse-control telegram containing double and single pulses produced in a central system control, the double pulse initiates the ignition phase and the single pulses initiate individual monitoring and measuring phases of the thyristor. The pulses of the pulse- control telegram are passed to a first AND- element and to a monostable flip-flop. The output pulses therefrom actuate a second AND-element and a further input to the first AND-element. The output signals therefrom set the control counter to the ignition position. A signal, released by the control counter in its last position, is passed to a third AND-element and, inverted, to a further input to the second AND-element. The output signals therefrom actuate the timing input to the control counter. The inverted output pulses from the flip-flop are passed to a further input to the third AND-element, the output signals from which constitute the report for igniting the thyristor.
