Abstract A control device for hydrostatic steering means comprises a housing having an internally toothed gear ring (4) of a measuring motor (5) between a valve block (2) and end plate (6). The end plate (6) centrally carries a tank connection (T) which communi- cates with the interior (26) of the gear (22) of the measuring motor (5). In axial extension of three axial passages (44), the end plate (6) also carries the pump connection (P) and two motor connections which are connected to the axial passages (44) by way of associated axial bores (45) in the gear ring (4).
