Control means for a hydraulic servomotor comprise a series circuit of two magnetic valves (10, 13; 11, 12) in series. The one magnetic valve (12, 13) is normally open and is operated to the closed condition by control pulses (C12, C13) of a first train of pulses. The other magnetic valve (10, 11) is normally closed and is operated to the open condition by the control pulses (C10, C11) of a second pulse train. In this way, one obtains good resolution and certainty of operation.
