In a partial telecommunications system bound to a telecommunications system as a local information transmission loop, in particular a DECT-specific RLL/WLL partial system bound to an ISDN-system, a change must be made from one telecommunications channel, for example the Cf channel defined in the DECT standard, to another telecommunications channel, for example the Cs channel defined in the DECT standard, when transmitting system information in the local information transmission loop. This channel is initiated and carried out preferably by interrupting for a short time the transmission of information in the partial telecommunications system, then by resuming the transmission of information.
