Abstract Control Plate for Picture-Reproducing Devices Control plates in flat picture-reproducing devices are located between the cathode and the screen and serve to control the electron flow. In the novel control plate, consisting of layers of intersecting metal conductors (1, 11), the openings (2, 22) narrow from both sides of the conductors (1, 11). The openings can be located so as to form recesses in respective adjacent conductors. (Fig. 5)
