CONTROL SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATIC ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A control system for an automatic document processing system of the type which comprises a reproducing apparatus for carrying out a reproduction process in order to form a reproduction of an original document onto copy paper. The reproducing apparatus includes a plurality of actuatable processing stations, each station capable when actuated of carrying out a predetermined processing operation. The control system includes a process control means for controlling the operation of the reproducing apparatus, the process control means comprising electronic sequencing means for actuating each of the processing stations in the proper timed sequence during a reproduction process. The sequencing means includes a plurality of stages respectively associated with the plurality of processing stations and sequentially made operative for a predetermined time interval during a reproduction process to actuate the associated processing stations. The sequencing means also includes means for generating a plurality of timing signals during the operative time interval of each stage, the timing signals being utilized to control the particular moment during the operative time interval of each stage at which the associated processing station is actuated. -1-
