Abstract of the Disclosure A control system for mechanically adjustable motor drives which have a shiftable speed control for controlling the speed of the drive. The system includes a double acting pneumatic cylinder which is remotely controlled to shift the speed control by varying the air pressure in the double acting cylinder, to increase or to decrease the speed of the motor drive. The air pressure can be varied manually or by automatic control means.
