ABREGE DESCRIPTIF La présente invention concerne de nouveaux comprimés de théophylline, type matrice hydrophile, à libération contrôlée selon un processus d'ordre zéro et leur procédé de fabrication. Les comprimés selon l'invention se caractérisent en ce qu'ils contiennent une quantité thérapeutique efficace de théophylline; d'environ 18% à environ 35% en poids par rapport au poids total du comprimé d'au moins une hydroxy- propylméthylcellulose à titre de polymère hydrophile; d'environ 7,5% à environ 22,5% en poids par rapport au poids total du comprimé d'un agent liant hydrophile favorisant l'hydratation du polymère, et d'environ 0,5% à environ 1% en poids par rapport au poids total du comprimé d'un agent lubrifiant interne hydrophobe.
