Abstract of the Disclosure Implantable infusion apparatus employs a collapsible infusate reservoir which is biased toward its collapsed condition to supply infusate under pressure to an outlet catheter via a pair of parallel flow paths having different fluid restriction characteristics. One flow path has a controllable valve and a fluid accumulator upstream of the valve so that infusate can be delivered to the catheter via one or both paths depending upon whether the valve is closed or open.
