ABSTRACT Moulded bodies, especially tablets having a homogeneous structure and contain about 10 to about 90% by weight of an active substance and about 90 to about 10% by weight of a synthetic, thermo- plastic, polymeric material; the active substance is one which forms agglomerates or gel particles or exhibits chemical instability, being stable only for a short time in an aqueous solution; the active sub- stance may be readily released from the moulded body by a flow of solvent; in particular the active substance may be a medication or narcotic.
