A method and apparatus for controlling the combustion of fuel modules (11) charged into a preheater or precalciner kiln (14) above the transition shelf (16), typically into the riser duct (12), is described. The apparatus includes a sensor (40) for providing signals indicative of the status in the region of combustion of the fuel modules, and a controller (38) for a fuel module feed mechanism (10) is provided to receive signals indicative of the status of the combustion region and adjust the rate of delivery of the fuel module into the combustion region responsive to the sensed conditions in the combustion region.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de contrôle de la combustion de modules (11) de combustible, chargés dans un four à réchauffeur ou précalcineur (14), au-dessus de la voie (16) de transition, habituellement dans la conduite (12) montante. L'appareil comporte un capteur (40) qui fournit des signaux indiquant la situation dans la zone de combustion des modules de combustible, ainsi qu'un contrôleur (38) de mécanisme (10) d'alimentation en modules de combustible, servant à recevoir des signaux indiquant la situation dans la zone de combustion et à régler le débit du module de combustible dans la zone de combustion, en réponse aux conditions recueillies par le capteur, dans cette même zone.
