ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for injecting water in the form of finely atomized mist into an internal combustion engine, is disclosed, consisting of a control unit having a valve adapted to regulate the flow of air entering the device through a first air port. The valve is responsive to vacuum differentials acting on a dia- phragm in a vacuum chamber. A second air port is adapted at the same time to control the flow of water entering a water admission port. The air-water mixture is pulverized into micro-particles by two successive atomizers in the unit. The air-mist mixture then passes through a third atomizer and is drawn into the venturi throat of the engine carburetor.
