ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A controller is provided with a push-to-turn locking unit for preventing rotation of a regulating shaft in at least one locking position without first axially moving the regulating shaft, the push-to-turn locking unit being arranged entirely outside of a housing of controller thus providing that the same controller base assembly can be used with a push-to- turn locking unit or without such a unit.
