A process for improving cold flow properties of diesel range hydrocarbons produced from renewable feedstocks such as plant oils and animal oils. A renewable feedstock is treated by hydrogenating and deoxygenating to provide an effluent comprising paraffins followed by isomerizing and selectively hydrocracking at least a portion of the paraffins to generate a diesel range hydrocarbon product. A portion of the diesel range hydrocarbon product is selectively separated and recycled to the isomerization and selective hydrocracking zone.

La présente invention porte sur un procédé permettant d'améliorer les propriétés d'écoulement à froid d'hydrocarbures de la gamme diesel, produits à partir de charges renouvelables telles que des huiles végétales et des huiles animales. Une charge renouvelable est traitée par hydrogénation et désoxygénation pour produire un effluent comprenant des paraffines et ensuite par isomérisation et hydrocraquage sélectif d'au moins une partie des paraffines pour produire un produit de type hydrocarbure de la gamme diesel. Une partie du produit de type hydrocarbure de la gamme diesel est sélectivement séparée et recyclée vers la zone d'isomérisation et d'hydrocraquage sélectif.
