A method of controlling roaming in a mobile system (3) comprising at least two networks (5 and 6), which can offer a subscriber (1) attached to the system a circuit-switched and a packet-switched connection, comprising the steps of checking, when a subscriber attempts to attach to the mobile system, separately for each network (5 and 6) comprised by the mobile system (3), from a first network element (HLR) comprising the subscriber's roaming right data if the subscriber (1) is entitled to roam that particular type of network of that particular mobile system, and allowing or denying the subscriber's roaming in each network (5 and 6) of the mobile system (3) separately on the basis of said check.

L'invention concerne un procédé destiné au contrôle de l'itinérance dans un système mobile (3), comprenant au moins deux réseaux (5 et 6), pouvant offrir à un abonné (1) rattaché au système une connexion à commutation de circuit et une connexion à commutation par paquets. Ce procédé consiste à vérifier, séparément pour chaque réseau (5 et 6) appartenant au système mobile (3), lorsqu'un abonné (1) tente de se rattacher au système mobile depuis un premier élément de réseau (HLR) comprenant les données relatives aux droits d'itinérance de l'abonné, si ce dernier est autorisé à utiliser ce type de réseau précis du système mobile, et à autoriser ou à refuser l'itinérance de l'abonné dans chaque réseau (5 et 6) du système mobile (3), séparément, sur la base de ladite vérification.
