The disclosure is directed to conversion assemblages adapted for use in converting a surface modifying apparatus having a supporting member, such as a pole sander, whereby the con-version assemblage includes a generally rigid body assembly including first and second major surfaces opposing each other, the first major surface is adapted for receiving the supporting member, and the second major surface is attach-able to a surface modifying member. The surface modifying apparatus may be an abrading apparatus. The disclosure is also directed to methods adapted for uti-lizing the conversion assemblages.
L'invention porte sur des assemblages de conversion permettant de convertir un appareil de modification de surface comprenant un élément support du type ponceuse à manche. Un tel assemblage de conversion comporte un corps sensiblement rigides présentant une première et une deuxième surface principale opposées l'une à l'autre, la première surface principale reçoit l'élément support et la deuxième surface principale peut être fixée à un élément modificateur de surface.
