The invention is a combustible pellet comprising municipal solid waste and methods of making therefor. The pellet has a water content of less than about 10 % by weight and a fuel value of at least about 10,000 BTU. The process for the forming of a combustible pellet from municipal solid wastes, comprises providing municipal solid waste essentially free of solid hazardous waste and essentially free of recyclable products; shredding and pulverizing the municipal solid waste to form a fluff with a water content of less than about 10 % by weight; and compacting the fluff to form a combustible pellet. A fluff with a water content of less than 10% by weight is obtained. The fluff is compacted to form a combustible pellet.

L'invention concerne un granule combustible fabriqué à partir de déchets urbains solides et son procédé de fabrication. Ce granule a une teneur en eau inférieure à 10% en masse environ et une valeur combustible d'au moins 10'000 BTU environ.
