ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A baseball-type cap has a crown with strips of one complement of a hook and loop fastener attached proximate the peripheral edge of the crown within the head receiving opening. A band extending from the base of the peak supports the other complement of a hook and loop fastener. Therefore, the peak may be removably joined to the crown. Further, the peak may be joined to the crown such that the peak extends from different exterior faces of the crown.
