Provided is a carriage utilizing transfer apparatus, which can be properly utilized as final assembly facilities for automobiles. The carriage utilizing transfer apparatus is equipped with a lifting table (12) for supporting a transfer object on a transfer carriage (1) to run along a transfer route. The lifting table (12) is constituted such that table type cradles (28) and (29) for supporting the bottom portion of the transfer object are removably mounted on a table body (13), and such that the table body (13) has its upper face (13a) flush with a flat working floor face (2) over the transfer carriage (1) when it is at a lower limit position. A post type cradle (30), which is constituted of a pair of right and left post members (37a) and (37b) positioned on the two right and left sides of the transfer object, as viewed in a top plan, and receiving portions (39) disposed at the post members (37a) and (37b) for supporting the two right and left sides of the transfer object, is so removably mounted on the transfer carriage (1) that the paired right and left post members (37a) and (37b) are positioned on the two right and left sides of the lifting table (12).
