- 1 - Abstract: A mechanism for conveying articles comprises a rotary drum divided into a pressure chamber and an exhaust chamber. Conduits supply pressure air to the pressure chamber and exhaust air from the exhaust chamber, Each of a plurality of suction pump tubes extends between the two chambers for air flow therethrough for generating suction in a transverse tube. Each of a plurality of suction pipes is connected to a respective transverse tube to receive such suction and thereby hold an article against the mechanism.
