A conveyor of product units has mounting brackets (28) extending laterally from endless chains (14, 16). The mount- ing brackets rotatably mount two spools (34, 36) having axes (30, 32) parallel tothe conveying path. Pivotally mounted off-loading elements (48) can be articulated to lift product units positioned on the conveying system for off-loading laterally from the conveyor. A laterally articulated actuator is located below the principal conveyor. The actuator includes laterally slidable slats (72) which fractionally engage the overlying rollers (34, 36). Guides (78) move the slats laterally with the motion of the conveyor. With the lateral motion of the slats, the rollers are caused to rotate.

L'invention porte sur un convoyeur de produits unitaires comportant des bras de fixation (28) s'étendant sur les côtés de chaînes sans fin (14, 16) et sur lesquels sont montés deux rouleaux (34, 36) dont les axes (30, 32) sont parallèles à la voie du convoyeur. Des éléments pivotant (48) de décharge, éventuellement articulés, soulèvent les produits unitaires déposés sur le convoyeur pour permettre de les décharger latéralement du convoyeur. Un vérin articulé latéralement et placé sous le convoyeur principal comporte des palettes (72) coulissant latéralement qui frottent sur les rouleaux supérieurs (34, 36). Des guides (78) déplacent les palettes latéralement alors que le convoyeur progresse, ce qui provoque la rotation des rouleaux.
