ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A conveyor belt chain comprises identical links, preferably made of acetal. Each link has a cylindrical head and two legs extending in "V"-form from the head. Between the outer ends of these legs the head of a next adjacent link is coupled for relative movement of the links in horizontal and vertical planes. A part-cylindrical sleeve of a material differing from that of the links is rotatable about the axis of the cylindrical head and provided with external, diametrically opposed bearing surfaces for engaging bearing surfaces on the legs, said bearing surfaces extending at a right angle to an axis perpendicular to the axis of the head. The sleeve eliminates direct contact between the links and the accompanying friction problems in their relative rotation.
