CONVEYOR BELT CLEANER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A conveyor belt cleaner which includes a sleeve mounted over a transversely extending support member, one or more cleaner elements with a mounting flange at one end for connection to the sleeve, a channel defined between the sleeve and the mounting flange, and a sliding surface associated with said sleeve formed of a plastic having a high degree of lubricity and a low sliding coefficient of friction, the sliding surface adapted to facilitate removal and replacement of the belt cleaner elements. A loose-running fit between mating parts is also provided.
