A B S T R A C T The conveyor belt is mounted on a frame fitted with guide rollers and return rollers and consisting of two separate sections (30, 32), one of them being supported by rollers (34, 36) on rails (38), in a manner allowing of a sliding motion and enabling it to be moved to and fro between an operative position inside a filtration drum (10) and a retracted position outside the drum, while the other section (30) is pivotably mounted, completely outside the drum (10) on about a shaft (40) perpendicular to the centre of displacement of the first section (32).
