The invention relates to a conveyor device, comprising a conveyor strip (6) for transporting workpieces (2) out of a cutting or stamping device (4, 5) and a placement star wheel (9) for putting upright the workpieces, which are delivered horizontally. Said placement star wheel is connected downstream of the conveyor strip. Conveyor belts which grip the workpieces on top and/or at the bottom are provided between the conveyor belt (6) and the delivery star wheel (9). These conveyor belts function at essentially the same speed as the transportation strip and the placement star wheel (9) and are arranged in such a way that they guide the workpieces into the receiving elements (10) of the placement wheel.
