The invention relates to a conveyor device which is used to transport workpieces, especially the workpieces of motor vehicle bodies (104), through a processing area (108) for surface treatment of said workpieces, comprising a conveyor (100) which brings the workpieces which are respectively maintained by a holder (112) into the processing area (108); transports them through said area (108) and removes them therefrom (108). The inventive conveyor device requires less maintenance in comparison with known conveyor devices. The holders (112) respectively comprise a base part (124) which moves in a translatory movement along a conveyor device (120) and a rotating part (146) on which the workpiece is arranged and which is held in such a way that it is rotatable on the base part (124). The conveyor comprises at least one drive device (106) enabling at least one directly driven respective holder (112a) to be driven directly in a movement along the conveyor device (120). The movement of the directly driven holder (112a) is transferred to an indirectly driven holder (112b) as a result of the contact between the directly driven holder and said at least one indirectly driven holder.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de transport servant à acheminer des pièces d'usinage, notamment des carrosseries de véhicules (104), à travers une zone de traitement (108) en vue du traitement de surface desdites pièces d'usinage, qui comprend un convoyeur (100) qui introduit les pièces d'usinage maintenues dans chaque cas sur un support (112), dans la zone de traitement (108), les achemine à travers ladite zone de traitement et les en (108) fait ressortir. L'invention vise à mettre au point un dispositif de ce type qui nécessite moins de maintenance que les dispositifs de transport connus. A cet effet, il est prévu que les supports (112) comprennent dans chaque cas une partie de base (124) à déplacement translatoire le long d'un sens de transport (120) et une partie rotative (146) sur laquelle la pièce d'usinage est placée et qui est maintenue rotative sur la partie de base (124). Il est également prévu que le convoyeur comprenne au moins un dispositif d'entraînement (106) au moyen duquel dans chaque cas au moins un support (112a) peut être entraîné directement en un mouvement le long du sens de transport (120). Le mouvement du support (112a) entraîné directement est transféré au support entraîné de manière indirecte, par contact du support entraîné directement avec au moins un support entraîné de manière indirecte.
