ABSTRACT A conveyor system, includes an element for making up an endless conveyor. The element has at one end at least one hook formation and at an opposite end a complemental formation. The hook formation on the element can engage the complemental formation on an adjacent identical element to pivotably join the two elements together. Means are provided for preventing involuntary disengagement of the said element from the said adjacent element.
