Conveyor (1) for clothes hangers (15) provided with hanging hooks (16), which comprises an endless chain (2) which is constructed from a plurality of chain links (3) and runs between a first return axis (9) located at one end (6) of the conveyor and a second return axis (10) lcoated at the other end (8) of the conveyor, so that the chain (2), by being guided around said return axes (9, 10), is divided into an upper (12) and a lower portion (13), the hanging hooks (16) of the clothes hangers (15) resting direcly, during conveying, in depressions (17) in the chain links (3) which constitute the upper portion (12) of the chain (2), and a drive motor (19) arranged so as, via a drive wheel (21), to drive the chain (2) in the desired direction. The invention is characterized in that the lower portion (13) of the chain (2) is arranged so as, between said first and second return axes (9, 10), to be deflected laterally by means of deflecting members (22) so that a deflected part (23) of the lower portion (13) of the chain is made to run parallel in a laterally displaced manner in relation to its upper portion (12), and in that said drive wheel (21) is in driving engagement with the deflected part (23) of the lower portion (13) of the chain (2).
L'invention concerne un transporteur (1) pour cintres (15) à crochets (16) de suspension comprenant d'une part, une chaîne (2) sans fin, constituée d'une pluralité de maillons (3), et circulant entre un premier axe (9) de retour situé à une extrémité (6) du transporteur et un second axe (10) de retour situé à l'autre extrémité (8) du transporteur, de manière que la chaîne (2), du fait qu'elle soit guidée autour desdits axes (9, 10) de retour, soit divisée en une partie supérieure (12) et une partie inférieure (13), les crochets (16) de suspension des cintres (15) reposant directement, lors du transport, sur les dépressions (17) que présentent les maillons (3) constituant la partie supérieure (12) de la chaîne (2), et d'autre part, un moteur (19) d'entraînement conçu pour entraîner la chaîne (2) dans le sens voulu par le biais d'une roue (21) d'entraînement. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que la partie inférieure (13) de la chaîne (2) est conçue pour dévier latéralement, entre le premier et le second axes (9, 10) de retour, sous l'effet d'éléments (22) déflecteurs, de manière qu'une partie déviée (23) de la partie inférieure (13) de la chaîne se déplace parallèlement à sa partie supérieure (12), avec un certain écart latéral, et en ce que la roue (21) d'entraînement est au contact menant de la partie déviée (23) de la partie inférieure (13) de la chaîne (2).
