A conveyor for transporting work pieces in a press, in particular a press line or multiple-die press, from a first station to a second station adjacent to the first station, comprises at least one lateral beam (300, 400) arranged on a side of the press, essentially extending parallel to a transport direction of the conveyor (52), at least one bar (500) having grippers (502) for gripping the work piece to be transported, whereby the bar (500) is attached to the lateral beam (300, 400) in such a way that it is movable along a longitudinal extension of the beam (300, 400); and for each lateral beam (300, 400) an assembly (100, 200) for supporting the lateral beam (300, 400). The assembly (100, 200) comprises a pivoting mechanism (106, 107, 108, 109, 301, 302) for pivoting the lateral beam (300, 400) around a horizontal pivotal axis perpendicular to the transport direction, and the grippers (502) are rotatably movable for at least compensating a change of orientation of the work piece due to the pivoting of the lateral beam (300, 400).
L'invention concerne un convoyeur destiné à transporter des pièces à travailler dans une presse, notamment une ligne de presse ou une presse à outils multiples, à partir d'une première station vers une seconde station située à proximité de la première. Le convoyeur comprend au moins une poutre latérale (300, 400) placée sur un côté de la presse, s'étendant de façon sensiblement parallèle au sens de transport du convoyeur (52), au moins une barre (500) comportant des pinces (502) destinées à accrocher les pièces à travailler à transporter, la barre (500) étant fixée à la poutre latérale (300, 400) de manière à être mobile le long de son extension longitudinale; et pour chaque poutre latérale (300, 400), un ensemble (100, 200) destiné à supporter la poutre latérale (300, 400). L'ensemble (100, 200) comprend un mécanisme pivotant (106, 107, 108, 109, 301, 302) destiné à faire pivoter la poutre latérale (300, 400) autour d'un axe de pivot horizontal perpendiculaire au sens de transport, les pinces (502) étant rotativement mobiles afin de compenser au moins un changement d'orientation de la pièce à travailler entraînée par le pivotement de la poutre latérale (300, 400).
