ABSTRACT CONVEYOR LINE AND PALLET FOR HEAVY GOODS CONVEYING A conveyor line for heavy loads comprises such conveyor line for heavy loads comprises a conveyor belt guided between rigid preferably parallel guide walls incorporating fixed support members which can take up a substantial portion of the vertical load of a pallet and its load. The pallet is carried on guide segments which are rotatable about a vertical axis above the belt, and are adapted to transfer the effective load force to the support members. The guide segments each include a glide shoe which is adapted to produce static friction for conveying the pallet or sliding friction when the pallet is stationary.
