A conveyor belt support system comprises a pair of laterally spaced support beams, a pair of angled C shaped brackets protruding inwardly therefrom, and a support bar which is slidably received within the brackets. The support bar is utilized to support the belt, and can be removed from the brackets without having to remove the belt. The support bar may be secured within the brackets by utilizing a clevis pin.
