A conveyor system (25) for accepting one or more streams of product input and converting the one or more streams to a format that is suitable for automatic loading to a subsequent machine (35) is disclosed. The conveyor system (25) comprises an input level shifting conveyor (45)_ disposed to receive the one or more product input streams. The level shifting conveyor (45) is movable between a first upper level position and second lower level position. An upper level strip conveyor (50) is disposed to receive product from the input level shifting conveyor (45) when the input level shifting conveyor (45) is moved to the first upper level position. The upper level strip conveyor (50) includes an output end that is in a fixed position during formatting to direct product received by the upper level strip conveyor (50) to a first lateral alignment position of the format. A lower level strip conveyor (55) is disposed to receive product from the level shifting conveyor (45) when the level shifting conveyor (45) is moved to the second lower level position. The lower level strip conveyor (55) includes an output end that is in a fixed position during formatting to direct product received by the lower level strip conveyor (55) to a second lateral alignment position of the format.
Cette invention concerne un système de transport (25) qui va recevoir une ou plusieurs chaînes de produits entrants, et qui va transformer ces chaînes en une configuration permettant d'effectuer un chargement automatique sur une machine (35) située en aval. Ce système de transport (25) comprend un transporteur de décalage du niveau d'entrée (45) qui va recevoir la ou les chaînes de produits entrants. Ce transporteur de décalage de niveau (45) peut passer d'une première position de niveau supérieur en une seconde position de niveau inférieur et vice-versa. Un transporteur à bande de niveau supérieur (50) va recevoir les produits provenant du transporteur de décalage de niveau d'entrée (45) lorsque ce dernier passe dans la première position de niveau supérieur. Ce transporteur à bande de niveau supérieur (50) comprend une extrémité de sortie qui se trouve en position fixe lors de la configuration, ceci de manière à diriger les produits reçus par ledit transporteur à bande (50) vers une première position d'alignement latéral dans ladite configuration. Un transporteur à bande de niveau inférieur (55) va quant à lui recevoir les produits provenant du transporteur de décalage de niveau (45) lorsque ce dernier passe dans la seconde position de niveau inférieur. Ce transporteur à bande de niveau inférieur (55) comprend une extrémité de sortie qui se trouve en position fixe lors de la configuration, ceci de manière à diriger les produits reçus par ledit transporteur à bande (55) vers une seconde position d'alignement latéral dans ladite configuration.
