ABSTRACT It has been found that a conveyor system can be lubricated with dilute [1.0 X 10-3M] aqueous solu- tions of a partially neutralized mono phosphate ester of the formula: Image wherein n has a value 0 to 3 and R is a C12 to C20 satu- ated or partially unsaturated linear alkyl group, or a mixture of such groups. The use of a synergist such as a long-chain alcohol, a fatty acid derived amine oxide, or urea improves the properties of the lubricant compo- sitions.
