ABSTRACT A polymeric cook-in mold for use with cased meat product is disclosed. This polymeric cook-in mold is light weight, and inexpensive compared to stainless steel molds. Further. this polymeric cook-in mold can be formed into any desired cross sectional shape. including for example. round. square. rectangular. oval, D shaped. tear drop shaped and mandolin shaped. This cook-in mold leads to very uniform diameter of the cased meat product and with the use of end plates and pressure plate. flattened casing ends. all which lead to more uniform slices of the cased product and increased yield after cooking.
