A cooking apparatus comprising a burner (2) and a cylindrical casing (10) which is arranged round the burner and extends upwardly therefrom. A cooking vessel (40) may be placed in the casing (10), its upper portion hanging on the casing's upper edge. On the cooking vessel there is placed a lid (50) which rests on the cooking vessel (40). In the upper portion of the casing (10) there are provided therein radially through-going openings (32). The lid (50) has a through-going hole and between the lid (50) and the cooking vessel (40) there extend passages (66) via which the space outside the casing (10) can communicate with the space (82) in the cooking vessel (40). A tubular jacket (70) of a fireproof, flexible material extends over the lid (50) and on the outside of the casing (10). The jacket has a lower opening (72), whose edge is arranged to sealingly enclose a lower portion of the casing (10), and an upper opening (74) whose edge is arranged for sealing connection with the edge of the lid's hole (60).
L'invention se rapporte à un appareil de cuisson comportant un brûleur (2) et un logement cylindrique (10) qui est disposé autour du brûleur et fait saillie vers le haut à partir dudit brûleur. Un récipient de cuisson (40) peut être placé dans le logement (10) avec sa partie supérieure suspendue au bord supérieur du logement. Un couvercle (50) est disposé sur le récipient de cuisson (40). Des ouvertures traversantes radiales (32) sont ménagées dans la partie supérieure du logement (10). Ledit couvercle (50) est muni d'un trou traversant et des passages (66) s'étendent entre le couvercle (50) et le récipient de cuisson (40). Lesdits passages assurent la communication entre l'espace extérieur au logement (10) et l'espace (82) situé dans le récipient de cuisson (40). Une chemise tubulaire (70) composée d'une matière souple et ignifuge est disposée par dessus le couvercle (50) et à l'extérieur du logement (10). Cette chemise possède une ouverture inférieure (72) dont le bord est agencé de façon à enfermer hermétiquement une partie inférieure du logement (10), ainsi qu'une ouverture supérieure (74) dont le bord est agencé de manière à former une connexion hermétique avec le bord de l'ouverture (60) du couvercle.
