ABSTRACT This invention provides a cooking appliance which is easy to see, recognize and manipulate and free from faulty operation. In a cooking appliance such as an electronic range equipped with a heater, there is provided at low cost a multicolored fluorescent display tube which is capable of displaying in multi-colored fashion a plurality of information, including whether the current cooking is in a heater cooking mode or in a microwave cooking mode, and further including the temperature settings and time settings.
