The present invention relates to a compact one piece cooking device which acts as a heat retainer and transfer device. The cooking device comprises an assembly housing and a plate positioned above and around a heat source where the assembly collects most of the heat and promotes specific heat transfer process to the food to be cooked. This invention reduces heat required and improves heat transfer in cooking.
