The invention relates to a cooking system, which is based on the principle of heat conduction and comprises a one-piece cooking surface made of a glass- ceramic material (10). Said cooking surface has a cooking area, which can be directly heated in an individual manner by means of heating elements (30) placed on the underside of the glass-ceramic plate (10). The invention provides that the glass-ceramic plate (10) has main crystal phases, high quartz mixed crystal or keatite mixed crystal, primarily formed from constituents Li2O-Al2O3-SiO2, with a coefficient of expansion of .alpha. = 0 to 1.5 x 10-6/K, preferably .alpha. = 0 to 1 x 10-6/K, and with a thermal conductivity of < 3 W/mK, preferably of < 2.7 W/mK. The glass-ceramic plate also has at least one cooking area situated on the underside thereof. In addition, the heating elements (30) of the cooking areas consist of metallic layers, and a porous ceramic layer (20) is placed between the underside of the glass-ceramic plate (10) and the heating elements (30) while serving as an electrical insulation layer. The optical appearance and the cleanability of the cooking system are thus improved, and it is possible to directly apply a durable heating layer system while considerably increasing the cooking capacities.

L'invention concerne un système de cuisson reposant sur le principe de la conduction de chaleur et comportant une surface de cuisson monobloc en vitrocéramique (10), présentant au moins une zone de cuisson pouvant être chauffée individuellement à l'aide d'éléments chauffants (30) disposés sur la face inférieure de la plaque vitrocéramique (10). Il est prévu selon l'invention, que la plaque vitrocéramique (10) présente des phases cristallines principales de type cristal mixte de température élevée ou cristal mixte kéatite, essentiellement à base des constituants Li¿2?I-Al¿2?O¿3?-SiO¿2?, avec un coefficient de dilatation de .alpha. = 0 à 1,5 x 10?-6¿/K, de préférence de .alpha. = 0 à 1 x 10?-6¿/K, et avec une conductibilité thermique < 3 W/mK, de préférence < 2,7 W/mK et qu'elle présente sur sa face inférieure au moins une zone de cuisson, que les éléments chauffants (30) de la zone de cuisson consistent en couches métalliques et qu'une couche céramique soit disposée, comme couche électro-isolante, entre la face inférieure de la plaque vitrocéramique (10) et les éléments chauffants (30). L'harmonisation optique et la facilité d'entretien du système de cuisson sont ensuite améliorées et il est possible d'appliquer directement un système stratifié de chauffage résistant, tout en augmentant sensiblement les capacités de cuisson dudit système.
