ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A stainless steel cooking utensil is described which is provided with a bottom layer or insert fully enclosed between the base of the cooking utensile and a protective outer member. A brazing material is provided all around the bottom layer, which is of aluminum and is disc-shaped, while the protective member, which is of stainless steel, is peripherically flared to eliminate recesses and spacing in the utensils.
