Abstract A cooking utensil and a method of forming same is disclosed. The cooking utensil has a base formed from a stainless steel substrate which is stamped to form a corrugated cooking surface, the surface then being grit- blasted and arc-sprayed to provide a rough surface for adhesion of a non-stick PTFE coating.
