ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A cooling device for personal use comprising a visored cap having an interior surface area that encircles and covers the head of the wearer, said interior surface having attached to a portion of it's circumference a fabric container having a slit on it's one side so as to form an opening to accept the coolant means, said coolant means consisting of a flexible plastic envelope having a plurality of individually sealed compartments which enclose a liquid or semi-liquid gel having a lower freezing point than water.
