ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION This invention described provides a cooled cord reel for use with an electrical appliance. The cord reel includes a hub and a pair of cord retaining flanges. Apertures permit air to flow inwardly into the cord arc and outwardly through it. The cord reel, additionally, has apertures in its cylindrical surface to permit air within it to flow outwardly past its electrical contacts.
