ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A metal receptacle is provided to contain liquids to be cooled. An absorption-type cooling system cools the receptacle and thus the contents thereof. The cooling system includes an eva- porator tube having a section which embraces the receptacle and is in area-contact with the same for improved heat-exchange. The sys- tem also has an absorber tube and one or both of these tubes contain elements which form capillaries therein. An arrangement is provided on or about the receptacle to store some of the cold produced by the cooling system. -1-
