In the operation of subassemblies, based on high-temperature superconductors, at increased power, for example in the field of power supply, certain limits are set by cooling and shockproofness. Either, the nominal current I N must be limited in order to keep the potential heat generation low, and/or the driving voltage is restricted in order to avoid high electric field strengths. According to the invention, there are suspended in a cooling liquid such as liquid nitrogen small particles which improve the heat transfer into the cooling agent and simultaneously increase the dielectric constant of the cooling agent.
