The invention relates to a cooling plate (1) for a blast furnace, consisting of a forged or rolled ingot made of copper or a low-alloy copper alloy. The edges of the cooling plate (1) are provided with small-diameter vertical and horizontal blind holes (13, 14) arranged about the vertical blind holes (3). Coolant supply and discharge for the blind holes (13, 14) takes place via the pipe fittings (5, 5') and for the blind holes (3) via the pipe sockets (2, 2'). For the additional fastening of the cooling plate (1) to the blast furnace shell, a hollow (12) is provided on the side facing away from the inside of the furnace, and a trunnion fastened to the blastfurnace shell engages in this hollow. Cooling plate (1) is fastened to the blastfurnace by fastening means which engage in the threaded holes (9) of cooling plate (1).
