A cooling structure of a superconducting motor is provided with a superconducting coil (22) on a rotor (17). Grooves (24, 25, 26) are provided on an outer plane of a rotating shaft (23), which penetrates the rotor (17) and is fixed. A cooling medium is permitted to communicate in a cooling medium circulating pipe (33) inserted into the grooves (24, 25, 26), and the superconducting coil (22) is cooled by the cooling medium.
