The present invention relates to a cooling system, especially for electronic components, comprising a hermetically closed pipe conduit including evaporator and condenser and utilizing thermosiphon circulation of the refrigerant used in the pipe conduit, the evaporator being in heat conducting contact with a heat emitting component to be cooled and absorbs heat therefrom, the heat being transported through the pipe conduit by the refrigerant to the condenser and dissipated therein. According to the invention the pipe conduit (3) includes a plurality of evaporators (1a, 1b, 1c) in series, each being in heat conducting contact with a heat emitting component, and the condenser (2) is placed so that the liquid level of the condensed refrigerant is below the uppermost situated evaporator (1c) in the pipe conduit (3). This is rendered possible by the increased pumping action achieved by the evaporators (1a, 1b, 1c) connected together in series in the circulation direction after the evaporators partly evaporated refrigerant used in the pipe conduit (3).
La présente invention concerne un système de refroidissement spécialement destiné aux composants électroniques. Celui-ci se compose d'un conduit tubulaire hermétiquement clos intégrant un évaporateur et un condenseur et utilise le principe de la circulation du réfrigérant par thermosiphon dans le conduit tubulaire. En l'occurrence, l'évaporateur se trouve en contact de conduction thermique avec un composant à refroidir, lequel composant dégage de la chaleur. L'évaporateur absorbe la chaleur ainsi produite, chaleur qui est transportée par le réfrigérant dans le conduit tubulaire jusqu'au condenseur où elle se dissipe. Selon l'invention, le conduit tubulaire (3) comporte une pluralité d'évaporateurs (1a, 1b, 1c) montés en série, chaque évaporateur étant en contact de conduction thermique avec un composant dégageant de la chaleur. En outre, le condenseur (2) est disposé de façon que le niveau liquide du réfrigérant condensé reste en dessous de l'évaporateur (1c) situé le plus haut dans le conduit tubulaire (3). Cela est rendu possible grâce à l'action de pompage effectuée par les évaporateurs (1a, 1b, 1c) montés en série dans le sens de circulation en aval des évaporateurs du réfrigérant partiellement évaporé utilisé dans le conduit tubulaire (3).
