The present invention relates to an additional cooling system (1) for the dry extraction of large flow of heavy ashes produced by boilers (100) with solid fuel apt to decrease the temperature of the ashes. The system comprises an extractor with metallic belt (2) gathering the ash which deposits onto the bottom of the boiler (100), a crushing system (3), having the purpose of increasing the thermal exchange surface of the material, one or more metallic conveyors (4, 6) having the cooling function by introducing countercurrent air - flow running through transported ashes, an in-line cooling device (5) having the function of putting into contact the ash several times with additional countercurrent air in order to increase the possible exchange without necessarily increasing the air - flow entering the combustion chamber. Such additional air can be sent preferably upstream of the air heater or in atmosphere upon fines' captation (figure 1).
L'invention concerne un système de refroidissement supplémentaire (1) qui permet l'extraction sèche d'un écoulement important de cendres lourdes produites par des chaudières (100) à combustible solide, lequel système est apte à réduire la température des cendres. Le système de l'invention comprend : un extracteur comportant une courroie métallique (2) destinée à rassembler les cendres qui se déposent au fond de la chaudière (100); un système de broyage (3) destiné à augmenter la surface d'échange thermique du matériau; au moins un transporteur métallique (4, 6) doté d'une fonction de refroidissement mise en oeuvre par l'introduction d'un écoulement d'air circulant à contre-courant à travers les cendres transportées; un dispositif de refroidissement en ligne (5) destiné à mettre les cendres en contact à plusieurs reprises avec un air à contre-courant supplémentaire, afin d'accroître les possibilités d'échange thermique sans nécessairement augmenter le flux d'air qui pénètre dans la chambre de combustion. L'air supplémentaire peut être envoyé de préférence en amont du réchauffeur d'air ou dans l'atmosphère, après captation des fines (figure 1).
