ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a new toy which improves the hand/eye coordination of the user. It requires a wheel having a diameter of generally less than 12 inches and greater than 5 inches, and a guide member having a generally "T" shaped configuration. The guide member includes a longitudinal portion and a crossing portion with the longitudinal portion having a surface configuration for accommodating rolling movement of the wheel along the length thereof. The crossing portion extends either side of the longitudinal portion at one end thereof which define opposed guide members for contacting a wheel as it moves across a surface, and thereby alter the path of movement of the wheel. This toy is designed for children of all ages, and it has been found that the use of smaller diameter wheels reduces the speed of the wheel thereby reducing the degree of difficulty. Therefore, a small child or an unskilled child can use a smaller diameter wheel, whereas a more skilled child or older child can use a larger diameter wheel. The larger diameter wheel will have a higher velocity and the difficulty of controlling its movement and redirecting its movement becomes more difficult as the speed increases. In order to start the rolling movement of the wheel, it is placed on the longitudinal portion of the guide member and rolled down the length thereof onto a support surface, and thereafter the user rotates the longitudinal portion to control the guide members, whereby contacting of the wheel on the sides thereof can change the angle of the wheel and change the path of direction. It is thus possible to control the path of movement of the wheel to define circles or figures eights, or any desired pattern, and as such, the user can test his skills against some set standard. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the wheel is adapted to be received on the longitudinal portion to define a storage position.
